Timeline: Dallas Corruption Investigation
Federal prosecutors announced sweeping
conspiracy charges during October 2007
against Dallas City Councilmember Donald Hill and fifteen others. During his
tenure on the Dallas City Council, Donald Hill served as Mayor Pro Tem, Chair of
the Finance and Audit Committee, and Member of the Board of Trustees for the
Dallas Police and Fire Pension System.
The Dallas public
corruption probe first
became public during June 2005 when federal agents executed search warrants
at Dallas City Hall. On February 26, 2010, former Dallas City Councilmember
Donald Hill was sentenced to 18 years in prison for bribery, extortion and money
laundering. Our Members are proud to have been
