Crimes or acts of public corruption committed by or against the City of Dallas, Texas, its employees, trustees and elected officials can be reported at any time using the anonymous hotline available at this site. Many crimes and acts of public corruption are discovered through tips from honest people who are not sure of all the facts. Even if you have no physical evidence you can still provide the details of your concerns and why you believe a crime or act of public corruption has occurred. All reports are treated seriously.

Timeline: Dallas Corruption Investigation
Federal prosecutors announced sweeping conspiracy charges during October 2007 against Dallas City Councilmember Donald Hill and fifteen others. During his tenure on the Dallas City Council, Donald Hill served as Mayor Pro Tem, Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee, and Member of the Board of Trustees for the Dallas Police and Fire Pension System.

The Dallas public corruption probe first became public during June 2005 when federal agents executed search warrants at Dallas City Hall. On February 26, 2010, former Dallas City Councilmember Donald Hill was sentenced to 18 years in prison for bribery, extortion and money laundering. Our Members are proud to have been at the forefront of the largest public corruption investigation in North Texas history.
