NEWS RELEASE - The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants has
awarded Mr. Columbus A. Alexander, III, the Certified in Financial Forensics
credential. The AICPA awards this credential only to select CPAs who meet a
stringent set of criteria including strict character, education and experience
requirements. Mr. Alexander has successfully met these criteria, and now joins
the ranks of CPA financial forensics experts who have also earned the Certified
in Financial Forensics credential.
Mr. Alexander's background includes both Big 4 public accounting and
private-industry experience where he earned expert credentials in financial
controls and audits, information system controls and audits, investigative
accounting, and fraud
investigation. He is active in the fight against public corruption, and has
developed a program of open records and anonymous hotline reporting designed to
identify crime and acts of public corruption. Mr. Alexander is a member of the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Association of
Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the High Technology Crime
Investigation Association (HTCIA), and the North Texas Electronic Crimes Task
Force (N-TEC).

over 350,000, including CPAs in public practice, private-industry and
